Simeon Panda

Simeon Panda is a British competitive bodybuilder and fitness model who competes worldwide. Along with his success as a bodybuilder he also judges competitions and is the owner of his very own sportswear company.

He originally started lifting weights at the age of 16 as he was a skinny teenager looking to build strength and mass.

Further inspiration arrived when he left for college and met a friend who was very muscular and ripped.

His friend stated that he had his own weights that he would use in his own home. This inspired Simeon to purchase his own set.

“I purchased weights that same day, and fell in love with working out. I remember I would get back from college excited to train.”

With his motivation at an all time high, he would train everyday without fail.

Soon he outgrew his old weights, so had to purchase newer and heavier ones. He would also research and learn new ways to improve his physique.

After competing in various bodybuilding competitions, he reached his pinnacle winning the European Championship in 2013, earning himself Musclemania Pro status in the process.

When it comes to training, Simeon believes that warming up is essential for packing on muscle mass.

“I normally do a warm up set then go straight into lifting heavy. This has been the most effective way for me to pack on size.”

He also believes that you should not stick to the same routine each workout, but to mix things up to keep your muscles guessing.

Compound exercises like the squat, bench press and deadlift are essential.

“Absolutely nothing is more difficult and produces more results than the squat, nothing.”

“The bench press is fundamental in a bodybuilders routine, you get to move a lot of weight through multiple muscle groups.”

“The deadlift is the king of mass gaining exercises, it works more muscles simultaneously than any other movement.”

As for his diet, he tends to stick to a clean, high protein diet unsurprisingly.

“I eat a lot of chicken, fish, red meat and I love vegetables.”
