Is the Pro Shred trial offer a scam?

Pro Shred

Pro Shred is a supplement available for trial that claims help you gain “lean ripped muscle” in “just weeks”.

This is quite some claim but can it back up these claims with proof? The following review will look at this supplement in more detail to see what actual benefits are on offer, if any at all.

We will also look to see if there are any of those hidden charges that trial offers like this are well known for.

Finally, we will conclude whether we believe the Pro Shred trial offer to be a good deal or not.

We do not endorse trial offers. Click here to see which product we recommend as an alternative.

Claimed benefits of Pro Shred

The Pro Shred website claims to offer its users the following benefits:

  • Gain muscle the safe way
  • Get amazing results
  • Increase your energy
  • Thermogenic fat shredder
  • Improve sexual performance
  • Guaranteed results

Whether these claims are accurate remains to be seen. We would need to look at the ingredients of this supplement before we could comment on how effective it is.

It is worth noting that these written claims are designed to entice you into signing up for the offer as quickly as possible, but I would recommend you look for a little proof before you rush into any decision.

Ingredients found in Pro Shred

Not only is there no product label available there is also very little ingredient information available at all.

There is brief mention of Carnosine, Beta Alanine and Arginine Alpha Ketoglutarate being present but without knowing the amounts or whether there are any other ingredients used it is impossible to comment on how effective this supplement is.

For all we know it could contain trace amounts of these ingredients so no benefit could be offered, also it could contain potentially dangerous ingredients.

Unfortunately with very little ingredient information available there is no way of knowing what effect this will have on your body, whether good or bad.

Price of Pro Shred

The price of Pro Shred may come as a shock to you unless you take the time to read the terms and conditions of the trial offer.

When you first sign up to the offer you will be charged $4.95, which will cover the cost of shipping the 30 day supply.

What you may not realise though is that just 14 days later you will be charged again. This time the amount of $87.47.

Pro Shred works as an auto-ship program too. So if you fail to cancel the trial within these 14 days you will be enrolled on this program, which will subsequently send you monthly packages thereafter.

Is Pro Shred a scam?

There are serious doubts surrounding its claims, and it is overpriced.

My suggestion to you would be to look for an alternative that actually works and has proof of its claims.

As things stand we cannot recommend Pro Shred.

They have one particular supplement available that comes highly recommended, D-Bal.

This particular supplement has been created to mimic the benefits of the banned steroid Dianabol, yet this supplement is both legal and safe to use.

Using D-Bal will provide the following benefits:

  • Increased strength and muscle mass
  • Improved blood flow and oxygen retention

D-Bal is not available for trial, so no auto-shipping or hidden charges will be experienced.

  1. Complete ripoff. They charge you 14 days after they send you the 30 day free trial. It’s 87 dollars. I don’t think a single person would pay for that if they knew that beforehand. When I called to cancel they hung up on me. I had to dispute the ridiculous charges. Never again

    • I ordered a 14 day trial and after reading multiple negative reviews I called and cancelled. I called and cancelled the order 5 minutes there after. They gave me a cancellation number of 267490 and 267489 for both the Proshred and Antler Pro. I called again after receiving the cancellation number just to ensure the order was infact cancelled. Again, given the cancellation numbers listed above. Again, i called the morning after to verify my 14 day trial was cancelled. Again, gave me the cancellation numbers listed above.

Two days later I RECEIVED THE PRODUCT. Tracking number 9400 1102 0088 3334 1444 96. I called again to let them know I received the product there after 3 phone calls to ensure it was in fact cancelled. I told them I wanted an RMA for the product I received so I will not be charged for the trial there after 14 days. They could not issue this nor could they even EMAIL of the cancellations nor void of the order. Voided confirmation number 67688080 and 67688072. What kind of company can’t send an email nor give an RMA??? Not to mention the representative HUNG UP ON ME.

If you order the 14 day trial don’t expect to ever return the product and not be charged. *****************************************BUYER BEWARE. ******************************************

I’m calling my credit card company to ensure they will never be able to access my account moving forward. I can not even believe this company is in business with such poor customer service and a system that won’t even send you an email of cancellation??? Sounds shady to me.

Let’s say I want to return the product – How would they even track the package coming pack without an RMA? Set up like this for a reason I’m sure. Terrible company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • I just canceled my order 7 days after I got it, it gave me diarrhea so I didn’t want to take it anymore she stated I would have to return it unused portion. I said no problem but she offered me a buyout of 19.95 one time offer and no return. I again stated that did not want it she said okay how about 35% off than it went to 45% followed by last offer of 55% off. I again ask her why would you offer me this product when I said it did not agree we me. Nothing she then had me on hold on and off again for nine minutes. I’m busy so I said what’s seems to be the problem and why so long to cancel something I don’t want. It caught her off guard and basically ended the conversation by saying I wouldn’t be charged for any upcoming orders and proceeded to give me a confirmation number which was exactly one number higher than my original order number. I called her out on that number. I said that’s strange that my cancellation number is one higher. Seems strange right. But I went with it. I am hoping no charges come I notified my Wells Fargo cc company that I would dispute any charges by them and I would cancel within 14 days. We shall see. I will post later if they don’t screw me. Peace brother

  2. Company and all sites related to these guys are a scam. Was charged multiple times for nothing. Had to refute charges through bank and cancel my bank cards. I tried the PROSHRED for a month with no results. If you read reviews with positive feedback, look at the url because there’s a 100% chance it’s associated with the company. On their facebook ad it says nothing about charges, even after the trial but they charge and keep charging. Anyone associated with this racket should be imprisoned.

    • UNBELIEVABLE… This is a great site here, Ok, I ordered the free 30 day trial for 4.95 shipping and handling on Feb. 1, 2017.. I opened the bottle and took a pill with apple cider vinegar which was advertised to burn fat, long story short..I checked my bank statement today and lo and behold, there was another charge for 87 dollars and change posted to my account yesterday, the 16th. I immediately called, and thank GOD this site was available for a customer service #..
the first Rep was a woman who said she couldn’t immediately bring up my account due to a slow system, then when she finally did access my account and I stated I wanted a full refund and would return the product, she asked if the bottle was opened… I said of course, how does your company expect a client to see results if the product was never used??
then she went on to say, scripted of course, that due to strict guidelines, they cannot refund an opened product.. when I objected and said Im sorry, I just want to return the product and get a FULL refund for the $87.00, she started over talking me…I asked her why they would send a “FREE” 30 day trial and auto bill someone after 14 days…besides, no nutritional content on the bottle so who the f*#% knows what your ingesting, really??
did NOT sit well with me. She rattled off a cancellation number and HUNG UP ON ME after I demanded, nicely, to speak with a supervisor…
I CALLED BACK, PISSED but got a male rep named Kevin, I VERY strongly repeated my objections and intercepted every one of his rebuttals, including an offer to refund me only 30% of the 87.00. He then placed me on a brief hold to see if he could get “special approval” to refund me 100%.. came back on the line with “great news”, stating he was able to get approval for the FULL REFUND. I asked him what his last name or initial was and address so I could send him a thank you card and a gift card for the Outback or something and he (pleading the 5th Amendment (VERBATIM) stated he couldnt give that info, not to worry about returning the product and I should see the full refund in 3 to 5 business days.
I used to work in a call center in sales for over 5 years selling medical alert devices and I sincerely felt sorry for this guy who’s just doing his job for a SCAM COMPANY..
my big question, why couldn’t the woman who took my first call handle this so efficiently?
I explained I work hard for my $ and will NOT be scammed and if they were to simply refund my money then there’s no need for small claims court action…
I guess I feel I’m a lucky one to have gotten Kevin the 2nd time, but I feel bad for the assumed countless numbers of consumers who fall for this.
hope this helps, btw, diet and exercise is the ONLY way to burn fat…..

      • this is a real f**king scamming Scam these guys are doing. they auto bill your account f**cking $87.47 a month. this is ridiculous. Its rather unfortunate all workers there are disrespectful and rude. NO ONE SHOULD FALL VICTIM TO THESE BUNCH OF SCAMMERS.

  3. I called immediately when I received the product just 3 days after placing the online order and decided to check it out and yes I know I should have done that prior to ordering, although once I did and saw the reviews and the additional money they charge your account I canceled the order. First the gentleman tried to convince me of how wonderful the product was and kept offering me an additional discount to continue the product usage, I continued to reiterate that I was canceling the order and that I didn’t want to be the charged the additional fee. He said I would have to return the product and I agreed and said I would comply he then finally agreed to cancel the account and gave me a confirmation number. When I asked about returning the product he said to go ahead and keep it. I hope that this will be the end of it and there will not be any further actions required but to the rest of you PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY don’t order in the first place.

  4. I was not aware of the $87 charge if you did not cancel your order after being persistent and being hung up on 5 times I finally had enough and said if this was not taken care of I would take care of it in small claims court. Needless to say this worked and I received my refund.

  5. Against my better judgement I order this product and did my research later. As stated in other reviews exactly 14 days later I was charged 87.47. Didn’t expect that. This charge becomes recurring monthly unless you cancel. It’s in the disclaimer on the very last paragraph. You know, that long endless bunch of bull that nobody reads. Big scam. Never again.

  6. I ordered the product on March 2nd and was not concerned about 14 days thing so I was charged $94.90 again but the good thing is that had some issue with shipping that trial product and I never received it in 14 days so all my Money was refund.
They really make me loose weight without product LOL

  7. MARCH 3,2017 . I Ordered bullshit scam product not being familiar with this . i couldn’t even sleep when i realized i had been fooled . i pride myself in better judgement thinking this is an awesome offer .NOT!!! STRAIGHT UP SCAM!! I talked to 2 people with 2 different talk results . one who hung up on me after giving me a 20 number ” return’ CODE. another who assured me my account was cancelled after talking over her offer of 30% or ” one year” at 50% off. i told her i know she is trained to keep talking but i was not convinced. so she asked me if i had disputed this charge with my bank. after i mentioned that i talked to my bank. then she said ‘LET ME TALK TO MY SUPERVISOR! came back and said she was authorized to give me a full refund. i once again talked to my bank next day. explained to them that i was charged 87 dollars after 13 days not 14 and then charged again 87 and 79 dollars withing 25 days . my bank said they would refund mew my money and said they would investigate but doubted very much if that company would return any money! and that they did not follow any protecal with bank policies .. warn all your friends about never falling for ” free trial offers”..

  8. I ordered the trial also. I never agreed to or authorized any further shipments or payments, at least not to my knowledge. Today I saw my bank account was charged over $160 for two of the products. Tried to call the number on the bottle 844-537-2569, got a recording that no such account. Will call bank and State Attorney General’s office in the morning but doubt that will help.

THEY ARE A SCAM People like this should be taken out and given a severe beating

  9. After reading the comments here, I called the customer service number and got some guy, name unknown, and the connection seemed to fade in and out and break up throughout the entire call, made me wonder if he wasn’t just pushing some kind of a button to make this happen on purpose???. Spent the first 5 minutes playing the “hello…can you hear me…game ” Told him I wanted to cancel, he asked why, told him I couldn’t afford 89 bucks a month, he said he could give me a 25% discount for life and all the benefits of the product, told him no thanks I wanted to cancel, he said he’d give me 50% discount for life, told him I wanted to cancel, said he could do that and that I need to return the product or pay 19.95 for it, told him OK (not that I had any intention of paying them any money and why would I need to return a “free trial” I already paid shipping on?) and cancel this, he gave me a cancellation number of 395-742. I told him I wanted a confirmation email sent to me this was cancelled, he said he would send one, never came, called my credit card company and told them of this scam and I wanted a block put on my card for this company, credit card company said they would block them and I would not be charged. We shall see, if a charge does get through I will dispute with credit card company as this company here is a scam. Buyer Be Ware certainly applies here.

  10. I paid for the Trial shipping on 5/24/17, called back the next day after reading reviews about the extra charges and asked to cancel, and be refunded my shipping costs. They did try and sell you on the product for a discounted rate, which I said no, and they did refund my shipping cost on 5/26/17. I still received the product the next day, so I called back to ask for a shipping label to mail it back to them. I spoke with a very nice lady and they confirmed that I was already cancelled and said to keep the product. I asked if there would be any additional charges and they said no. I’m glad I read this review, now I get to try the product for free, without any shipping charges. I’m still going to be watching my credit card account in another 5 days once I hit the 14 day mark.

  11. Buyers Beware !! Stay Away from this company. I ordered the trial offer not aware of the fact they would later charge my account for 170 dollars. Total ripoff !! Due to injuries, I was never able to use the trial offer. When I asked about returning the product, i was denied. They don’t take back product even sealed and never opened after 30 days. I’m sure they have product on their shelf that’s older than 30 days. Is the product only good for 30 days? I had it for 32 days. Bad Business !! I wouldn’t use or recommend doing business with this company to anyone.
Better Yet, Run, Stay Away !!

  12. Straight scam! Billed over $160 for 2 bottles I never opened. Contacted them on 3 occasions after being told in July they were sending me an RMA to return the bottles. Found out this first lady had given me wrong / incomplete RMA info and nothing had been sent. Called back 2nd time and this lady gives me more RMA info which I use and just mail (because she says they don’t send a box but just include the RMA numbers on my package. I mail it through post office and put a USPS tracking number on it for delivery confirmation. Once it arrives in Henderson, NV it goes out to delivery and its reported by post office ‘BUSINESS IS CLOSED”. I call Pro Shred customer service a 3rd time and they say I was given WRONG ADDRESS to send return and told it should have been sent to St. Petersburg FL! i wait for a day to see what is going on and then finally try calling post office direct in Henderson for more info and go back to my post office to see if they can get more detail (not initially happy with their customer service either). Finally last week had my post office investigate further – they tell me the business is closed and that is under a FTC (Federal Trade Commission) investigation and that all packages that had been sent there are being held someplace and they may or may not be returned to senders. I’m so pissed I could scream. Probably will never get my money back.

  13. They are terrible, I spoke with 3 different reps and a supervisor and no one is willing to refund my money. I also had 50 minute hold times. If a charge is pending, does anyone know if closing a bank account will do any good?

  14. I also was unaware of the auto sign up. They offer a free 30 day trial. How can you know until the end of the 30 days if you want to continue? I accepted their free trial on 9/10. They then billed me for $87 on 9/23 and then again on 10/10. I had my Bank reverse both charges and have called Pro Shred twice and waited on line for awhile. Left call back numbers but still nothing. I received a box Saturday and it will be sent back today, Monday. The charges show reversed in my account. They are SOL if they think they can get any money out of me.

  15. Update. Got through to Customer Care. After trying to argue that they would win in a dispute, and then trying to offer me a 30% return and then a 50% return, they did the right thing and cancelled everything. I confirmed that the correct Return address is the following
    6955 N DURANGO DR.
    STE. 1115-770
    NV 89149
Hope this helps anyone still fighting to get money back and to return product

  16. My antenna’s went up when they asked for the entire credit card number (Including the 3 numbers on the back). That’s an indication of auto bill that I learned as a credit card collection rep. Please be aware of that! I believe the product is shipped out of Canada (Most if not all international company’s require your CVS #). Just be aware. Your information can also be sold so that other companies can market you.
