Is the Mass Muscle FX trial a scam?

Mass Muscle FX

If you have a Facebook account you have no doubt seen the recent adverts for Mass Muscle FX, a muscle builder available for trial.

What has probably caught your eye is the host of supposed celebrity users of this product. Celebs such as the Rock, Jake Gyllenhaal and Chris Hemsworth, amongst others.

So do you believe that these A-listers have used this supplement? Probably not, but does this supplement offer any benefit at all?

In this review we will look at Mass Muscle FX to see if any benefits will be experienced. Also whether there are any hidden charges that we should know about.

Trial offers are often just a front for an auto-ship scam, but whether this is the case for this supplement remains to be seen. We will soon discover the truth though.

We do not endorse trial offers. Click here to see which product we recommend as an alternative.

Claimed benefits of Mass Muscle FX

Mass Muscle FX is claimed to offer the following benefits to its users:

  • Break your lifting records
  • Increase your strength
  • Build muscle faster
  • Sculpt your body

These claims are vague, but admittedly impressive and are designed to get you to make a ‘snap’ decision to sign up.

I would suggest that you wait though, at least until you discover what effects Mass Muscle FX can have on your body.

Ingredients found in Mass Muscle FX

While there is no label present, if you look closely at the website they do mention a few of its ingredients.

For example; Glutamine, L-Carnitine, Chromium, Green Tea, Yohimbine Bark and Vitamins B3, 6 and 12.

Of course it would be better if we knew exactly what Mass Muscle FX contained, I can certainly see some benefit of its use.

Whether it is worth its price remains to be seen. I guess it depends on how much it costs.

Price of Mass Muscle FX

If you sign up for this trial then you will soon discover for yourself why trial offers have such a bad name for themselves.

After reading the terms and conditions of the trial I discovered that just 14 days after you sign up you will be charged the full purchase price for the supplement, which is a quite astonishing £98.94.

This will not be the end of your problems either as signing up for this offer also means that you have signed up for an auto-ship program. So you will soon find that further payments will be take from your account for the monthly packages you will be sent.

As with all auto-ship programs these deliveries and charges will continue until your subscription is cancelled.

Is Mass Muscle FX a scam?

While Mass Muscle FX have covered themselves legally, those who sign up for this trial will no doubt feel aggrieved and will likely call the offer a scam.

I would suggest either skipping trial offers completely, or at the very least to make sure you read any T&Cs before you sign up, to ensure you know exactly what the charges will be.

Either way, I cannot recommend Mass Muscle FX and I suggest that you look for an alternative.

Mass Muscle FX
Hi, my name is Jonathan, a fitness blogger and bodybuilding enthusiast and I am the founder of Skinny2Fit. I want to provide you with easy access to good advice that is both simple and to the point. Helping you gain muscle mass and strength!

    • This website has no association with this product, so I suggest you try using the contact details I have provided in the above review.

    • That’s a scam with “legal terms”. Probably you’ve already lost the astonishing £98 amount for a single bottle. I’m sorry for you mate!

To cancel the subscription I recommended you: first call your bank ans ask them to refuse any further payment from them and second phone or email to the massmuscle website and tell them that you want to cancel right now your subscription.

When I bought it, I thought it was a special promotion offer and that only the shipping cost should be paid. So, I decided to test it. Two weeks later I found the surprise, when I check my bank account… OMG this holy shit cost 98£. It’s almost the same price that I’ll pay for a whole year of membership at my gym (Exercise 4 less)… Needless to say that I felt quite stupid for have given my card details before read the “term condition” of the website.

About the product itself… don’t expect any miracle… Better you buy a whole bag of spirulina (much more cheaper, of course) and add 2 spoon of organic coconut oil (very cheap too). It will give you the same effect but with a 1/100 of the cost!

My personal conclusion: A very well designed SCAM!

      • I have just had the same thing happen to me. Checked my account and low and behold, thea was a transaction of $141.02 nzd made without me knowing..that really pissd me off..dont buy!! Doesnt work. And they blatantly rip you off!!

  1. Hi a send e-mail on all contants on his page with information that I cancel my all order after that they write to me, my order was send. What should I do ? Send this back ?

    • You need to call the number provided with the delivery. There is an instruction notice with a phone number to call if you want to cancel it. I just did it…

      Good luck!

      • Hello, I discarded my delivery note- do you still have the details that you used to cancel?
I paid for the trail but am concerned I will need to pay more.

  2. I can not believe I fell for this SCAM ! which is most definitely a rip off ! I to signed up for the FEE TRAIL !!!!!!!! to give the product to someone as a gift ! and when it turned up I read that I will have to pay for it after 30 days witch would be at the cost of 200.00 pounds or just under ! and that they would take that amount from my bank account every month !!!! I have emailed them and vented my frustration ,telling them that they haven’t had my permission to take any future payments from my account ! they then emailed me back saying that they cant cancel mt order until they receive the product back ,therefor they expect me to get them back from my friend that I got them for !! this is a SCAM !!!! stay away .trev

  3. I too got scamed by this product and have sent several emails to which ive had no replies and the contact 0800 number dosent work ive been incontact with my bank and have had a stop put on anymoney coming out . Have i done enough as i am so angry they will still attempt to take money from my account . Its a joke !!! I will cancel my whole bank account if it comes to it !!!

  4. I have signed up for these products an have tried ringing both the number you gave and they gave me but none of them connect can you help me ??

    • I would recommend that you speak to your bank if you are unable to contact Mass Muscle FX yourself. These details were correct at the time of writing the review.

      • Hi does anyone have or can get a screen shot of the bit where you type in your bank details, as I didn’t tick anything to say I agree to the terms and conditions and normally when ordering something on line you would generally have to agree to something. They haven’t replied to my emails or anything and I’m worried.

  5. These people are scum bags, And yes it’s a scam, I called my bank and they said they will take care of it, I will continue to let people know that these people are shit bags

  6. Hi I m glad I read your website before I bought it. I was just about to get my card details. Do you have an alternative for the theratosterone and mass muscle fx?
I belived the site because it was a link through the fb of men and health

  7. I ordered this yesterday at 9:30. Read terms and conditioned and called them straight away, 15 min after order confirmation. The consultant told me I called “just in time” to cancel and reassured me all future shipments will be cancelled and I might even get refund of £7! I even got email confirming this.
Today I got another email saying “This email is to inform you that the order you placed has already been sent to our mail provider. Our Specialist tried to to cancel it when you called about this, but was too late. Once an order is submitted online, we cannot stop the order from being processed.”
Will have to call my bank and hope they will assist.

  8. Just done the exact same thing.. Thinking it was a free trial.. Got through to the company and they said its all in my control so I’ll contact them again as soon as I receive it and get the returns code then contact my bank to make sure no further payments continue. Looks like its going to cost me over £25 in receiving ansand sending it back

  9. yes they scum tried phone number nothing e mailed nothing had to go bank cancel so i only paid postage if they think i sending free trial back up yours scum bags there no adreess nothing

  10. My partner signed up for the “free” trial from my account but it declined and stated it was incorrect details so he just left it, couple days went by and in the post was 2 bottles of the tablets, confused as they stated they had the incorrect details but didn’t take much notice by the weekend £48 was taken out of my account but couldn’t see it in my statements as it was the weekend and it haven’t processed yet, then a toatal sum of £196 was taken straight out my account! This is wrong as it didn’t go though, but even if it did who would pay that sum for tablets? No one!! They then puts a “fake” number up! How can I get in touch with them? I am furious! I don’t work full time to give money to scams!

  11. I fell for this yesturday and got offered it as a trial package and just pay £6.98 and £6.94 for postage and then i found it strange that i didnt get confirmation about massmuscle only theratosterone, then i came across this website and panicked.cancelled any further payments coming out of my bank but they said they cant cancel the postage payments coming out.i have rang maximuscle up and they said that i have got to accept the goods and cant refuse it as i will still have an account with them so have to ring them when i recieved the goods and they want me to pay return postage as well to which i angrily told them that no more money will be coming out as i have cancelled them taking any more money but they still told me i need to ring them when i recieve items.didnt know if to keep items when they come but then dont want further action being taken against me,so angry!

    • Just call, say you’ve received it (even if you haven’t!) and cancel. Also, Read T&Cs in future… You’re an adult, FFS.

      • These people are fraudstes .They manipulate the on-line system to steal money legally from your account. I just found out that they have taken payment twice from my account and there is no way you will be refunded because of the loop holes in the banking system.
This was meant to be a one buy . The product I haven’t tried yet, they took x2 payment of £98.94 and the so-called free shipping fee of £6.98.

  12. Ok guys ive been scammed to, and you only find this out once you have opened the package
One of the first things I noticed is there is no address , after phoning my bank
they supplied me with two contact telephone numbers
    0800 368 416 0800 088 5413 as the customer service number they supply doesn’t work
the returns address in the UK is as follows
    Customer Returns
    PO BOX 455
    HA4 6H

  13. after reading your comments above I see its clearly advising people not to take the free trial due to the costs they put on after…which is fair enough on advising people about this matter but you can find this product cheaper elsewhere on certain sites or certain bodybuilding shops….my main question is does the product actually work or is that a scam as well…

  14. Hello
I also order the free trail yesterday without reading the t&c’s first so I phoned them today to cancel the subscription. I phoned them on 0800 812 1037 and they answered straight away. I told them the script and they offered to add on an extra 7 days onto my so called free trial and if I still wanted to cancel then just phone them within the 21 days and return the remains of the bottles and no further payments with be taken from my account. They also offered to sell both products for half price. So 98 bucks for both products a month. I’m going to do the 21 day trail and see how it goes. Cheers

  15. These people are fraudstes .They manipulate the on-line system to steal money legally from your account. I just found out that they have taken payment twice from my account and there is no way you will be refunded because of the loop holes in the banking system.
This was meant to be a one buy . The product I haven’t tried yet, they took x2 payment of £98.94 and the so-called free shipping fee of £6.98.
PLEASE DO NOT BUY. THEY ARE THIEVES!!!! I also received nothing off them since the free trial so that’s about £400 taken from my account with absolutely nothing in return

  16. My husband just received a package from here and wen tryed to return they said no there is no address, and it’s too late t th e UK. ? Scam MN big time

  17. Also scammed by massmuscle for 2 x 60 tablets of “their” product,as a trial ONLY- shipping was to be £4.95p per bottle x 2 each containing 60 tabs=£9.90p agreed!!- within a few days and before opening the bottles i was charged through my Bank the amounts £99.99p & £94.95p respectively AND I DID NOT authorise this payment- As an OAP of 79 years old with only basic pension income this has hit me hard- WHAT MUST I DO TO HAVE THIS MONEY RETURNED TO MY A/C????

  18. To my shame I was also caught out and told that I supposedly ‘agreed’ to auto-enrolment, because I did not call them after 14 day trial period. Their email appeared in my junk email box and was almost missed and I cancelled after speaking to the supervisor, but was charged another £10.00 each for refunding 3 sets of charges from my bank account. I am furious and feel exploited. PLEASE avoid any online free trials as they are a SCAM. This is not a reputable or ethical company and I wish I never responded to their advertisement. AVOID!! AVOID!!

  19. I have called them on their new telephone number: 0161 265 0074, and got no response. The Return Address is in Hillingdon (Herlwyn Avenue Ruislip Hillingdon HA4 6HH) whereas the new telephone number is a Manchester number. The sellers are fraudulent. I hope to contact Hillingdon Trading Standards and Report them to the Police as well. This sellers are selling a fake drug which caused me anxiety, and did nothing as advertised. I need to have their trading and registered name in order to bring them to court.

  20. MassM1X located at 1800 N. Bristol St. #451 Santa Ana, CA is a SCAM for sure. The product did noting for me during the trail use. They sent me a second bottle which I returned, according to their guidelines. I asked for a refund or the returned product and removal from their continued sales list. The next month I received another bottle and did the same thing. I received a cancellation notice a month later and the next day I received another bottle of product. I called the number on the cancellation notice and as to be refunded. They refused to refund my $269.82. At this time I am preparing litigation against them along with several other options. DO NOT purchase MassM1X (or any other product) from the company list above.
