Here are a few insights into her training and motivation.
Height: 5ft 8
How did you get started with bodybuilding?
After I had my child I started going to the gym in my lunch break at work.
I reduced my size which was fab but then I saw a girl who was muscular and wanted to create my own muscles!
I found a coach and thats when it all started!
Where does your motivation come from?
From my soul! Seeing my changes and love how I’ve evolved!
What workout routine has worked best for you?
I am always changing it up!
Giant sets/TUT/Drop sets and German Volume… My upper body responds much quicker than my legs – Boooooo!!
I’m experimenting on how to get my legs and glutes in condition for next year.
What one exercise could you not live without?
Lateral shoulder raise.
What is the body part you are most proud of, and how did you get it to that stage?
My shoulders as I had none before!
What is your diet like?
So technically this is my 2nd off season…
I kept Keto after the comp for 6 weeks and now added small amounts of carbs to my protein-rich meals.
So pretty clean with Saturday night as my cheat meal! Where anything goes!
I try to keep the basic principles of bodybuilding rather than confusing myself with too much information and so called science!
How does your training and diet evolve as you get closer to a competition?
Training goes to Supersets with a lighter weight…avoiding injury at all costs!
Diet tapers down to Keto.
What’s the one food you couldn’t live without and how do you handle food cravings?
Steak is my friend and Haribo is my weakness!
I try to hold off till the weekend and dream of how they taste!
What supplements do you use?
Time 4 Nutrition….couldn't live without their Whey, Pre workouts and BCAAs
I also like:
- GAT – BCAAs Mojito flavour
- Essential Vitamins from Revital
