How did you get started with bodybuilding?
I found a passion for bodybuilding when I decided to change my life around from alcohol, smoking, drugs and party’s around 6 years ago when my first son was to arrive.
I decided I wanted to make something of myself to make my kids proud and look up to me as a champion.
That is also where my motivation comes from, there is also a massive passion for success that I crave.
What workout routine has worked best for you?
I find working on isolating muscle groups works best for me.
Using slow controlled reps I feel the stretch and squeezing the muscle. There is no ego lifting when I train.
What one exercise could you not live without?
The one exercise I couldn’t live without is the incline bench press. I love the pump I get from this.
What is the body part you are most proud of, and how did you get it to that stage?
The body part I am most proud of is my legs.
I have always put extra work in to them over the years to get them a good size. I have only recently started wearing shorts ha ha.
What is your diet like?
My diet is very clean with 7 meals a day. I rarely have cheat meals but when I do I go all out.
How does your training and diet evolve as you get closer to a competition?
Training becomes more intense coming in to my first competition.
I had minimal rest periods between sets, while the diet becomes harder as you lower the calories.
What’s the one food you couldn’t live without and how do you handle food cravings?
The one food I couldn’t live without is chocolate. I have a huge sweet tooth.
I handle food cravings by having a vision of myself on stage and how I would look.
What supplements do you use?
I use the following supplements:
- Whey protein
- Whey isolate
- Omega 3
